Hoodia in The Media
Hoodia Gordonii have been the subject to a lot of media reports. In 2003, Tom Mangold, a BBC Two’s Correspondent tried raw Hoodia while in the Kalahari Desert of South Africa filming an episode of a programme called "The Anti-Fat Pill and the Bushmen". More than a year later, in November 2004, Lesley Stahl of the CBS’s 60 Minutes programme visited the Kalahari Desert and tried raw Hoodia Gordonii. Those two TV programmes are considered to be the first programmes that brought Hoodia Gordonii to the worldwide audience. Since then, more media reports on Hoodia Gordonii followed.
In this section, you will find summary of media reports and videos on Hoodia Gordonii from some of the most influential news channels in the UK and the US. Even if these reports recognised the power of Hoodia Gordonii, none of them has recommended a specific Hoodia weight loss product.

Hoodia Gordonii in the Media
During my research on Hoodia Gordonii I came across many websites who claim that their Hoodia had featured on Oprah Winfery show, or "as seen on Oprah" or was recommended and endorsed by Oprah. But did Hoodia really feature on Oprah Show?
After more research I couldn't find a single proof that the above was true. The only apparent connection between Oprah and Hoodia was an article in "O the Oprah Magazine" entitled “Diet Pills: The Next Generation”.
