Weight loss tea was revealed nearly a hundred year ago, what then makes weight loss tea more popular these days? With so many extensive research studies on different types of tea researchers have discovered that tea can really help you lose weight.

Nowadays, advance in technology has lead to many of us living a sedentary lifestyle something that has contributed to many people becoming overweight. Since more and more people are becoming overweight, the demand for an effective and safe weight loss supplement increases. Weight loss tea has become the most favored weight loss supplement as it is very affordable, easily available and have no dangerous side effects.

Weight loss tea aids weight loss by reducing the deposition of excessive dietry fats around the body by boosting your metabolism. One popular example of dieting tea is herbal green tea. Green tea is easily available and can be bought in the form of bags or ready-made drinks. Green tea can help you lose weight by increasing your metabolis without effects on your heart rate (a common side effects of metabolism boosters). Herbal weight loss green tea has more other health benefits since it is rich of antioxidants.

Another popular type of weight loss tea is dandelion tea. Dandelion tea is made from dandelion roots and leaves and has been used Northern America for many decades. Dandelion tea aids digestion and increases the body’s metabolism. Dandelion tea also gets rid of deposited fats on arterial walls and detoxifies the body.

Other known weight loss teas include herbal teas that are usually made from nettle and fennel seeds. These teas have been proven to act as natural appetite suppressants like hoodia gordonii and therefore they can reduce food cravings and intake.

Chinese weight loss teas such as FeiYan Tea and Cho-Yung tea have been recently introduced to the western world after being used in China for thousands of years.

Fei Yan and Cho Yung  tea are made of herbal ingredients that include chinese green tea, Cassia seeds, alisma, chinese hawthorn, Poria, Jiagulan, Lotus leaves, Cha Ye, Retinervus Luffae Fructus, Pericarpium Citri, Reticulatae Viride, and Coicis seeds.

Weight loss teas will only help if you follow a healthy diet and an exercise regime. A healthy diet that is low on carbohydrates and fats and is high on fibre, proteins and minerals, and regular exercise will help you achieve the best weight loss results.
